Ten beds adult ECMO capacity unit in King Saud Medical City (KSMC), a Ministry of Health tertiary hospital in Riyadh covering the central region of Saudi Arabia, started serving the people of Riyadh in 1956. Currently, it has 1,400 ward beds and 199 critical care beds, with more than 8,000 employees.
